Costume Ideas

Even thought it seems like getting costume ideas should be easy, it is often rather difficult. Sometimes people are just stumped on what kind of costume to get. Others have too many ideas, which is almost as bad as not having any at all.

If you are trying to get some costume ideas, one thing you can do is to look over your favorite books and movies. You may not want to dress up as the coolest hero of the latest movie, but there are many older characters you can draw inspiration from. Early in the Halloween season you can also just peruse the stores to see what is available. Something might just out at you.

Another place you can get ideas that may not be as crowded as a costume shop is at a fabric store. These stores will have catalogs full of clothing you can make, and these often have a costume section in them. You can either make these costumes yourself, or just use the catalog to find an idea.
